We had to share some fun shots we were able to get at the Butterfield Threshing Bee recently! One of the locations we used was the Tuberg Homestead, which was built in 1872 and was home to 7 people in spite of it’s very small size! (A huge thank you to the Johnson family for making this possible!) We decided we needed our very own “Mary” and “Laura” as subjects to make the shots complete. We were also able to use a little one room schoolhouse built in the late 1800’s and a real train depot that was moved to the Bee sight from Granada. Of course, we had to have a little train engineer then, too!
These photos are great. the children look just like they have gone back in time to the 1800’s. very authentic looking. The little Engineer is adorable. I love looking at your work, can’t wait to see what you will do next! You do awesome work!

Those are too cute! Looks like the kids had a good time.
Great photos! I love them all. Thanks for posting them!
How fun are those! I would love to do something like that.
Such a great idea! Love how this turned out. Little House was one of my faves as a kid 🙂
